History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born in a small forest village. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and obtaining odd cultural dwarven artifacts is his passion

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his club, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. His white hair, when down, is lengthy. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Gilthur is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wishes to resurrect an old love
