Description: This man wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with blue lining and desert motifs. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized topaz on his right hand. His hair is chestnut and curly. His brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Carrie wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Cleric, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Carrie hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tiefling conditions. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a grey wide-brimmed hat and grey clothes. His fur, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Smoking is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Smoking lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Smoking never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Scribe like his father before him.

Motivation: To be a Marshal again; and he is unsatisfied with his job
