He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Rathkran and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A freak accident while working with his Cartwright father left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Merchant and was forced into it by his family.

History: Sindri hails from a village terrorized by brigands. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. A friendly and beautiful Gnome, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: Senteq was born with his father's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and he wants revenge against drow
