History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

After coming to the age of reason, Vlorn took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
