After coming to the age of reason, Korfel took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Elaim was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
