Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Mûg was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His golden hair is singed and shortened. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Namfoodle is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To unite with his sister.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Einkil was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Einkil grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Einkil. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Unemployed again; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
