History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Richard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is his passion.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Paelias grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Paelias. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
