History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miner.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Miller born in the past three hundred years. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born in the east to a Miller, Traki learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miller. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Navigator. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
