History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Mason mother left him crippled. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: Koeth hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Koeth has worked very hard to control his curse. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ernest grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Abad was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fletcher. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
