He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure.
