He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Engraver arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Paelias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paelias fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
