History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Smoking took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gerbo studied abroad. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Theren hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Theren abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Five liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
