Personality: Gennal speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born in a small plains village. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Gennal's homeland. Gennal decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gennal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
