History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Heian has worked very hard to control his curse. History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rathkran fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
