When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Assassin hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Thorin took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up sai and armor he uses now. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.
