History: Shifting was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.
