History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. When Anselm reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anselm fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: Purson was born the youngest of three triplets. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His first spouse was a Guard, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he's looking for his big break

His black hair is smooth and relatively long. His green eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker blue hat.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Guy embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Guy was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
