Description: An older man who wears dark leathers with embroidery, he is not a threatening figure. His silver hair is heavily combed to the left. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his top tan hat.
Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His crest is bronze, silky, and of moderate length. His eyes are a pleasant gold.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Zedaar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Zedaar grew up listening to his father's many stories. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is a Locksmith first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He worked as a nervous Locksmith and found it very stressful. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His yellow eyes peer out from beneath his Stetson black hat.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aura grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aura. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a rival would like him out of the picture
