His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Paelias was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Paelias's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Paelias and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
