Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

After coming to the age of reason, Varis took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. History: Born to a Architect, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Traki never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Carpenter profession.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Nim was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Nim's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
