History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Kerkad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Healer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Kugáluga was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.
