History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Fargrim grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. During his travels, Fargrim and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Fargrim discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Fargrim fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Himo took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born into a rich family. Through the years after Odo was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Odo's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Oriax was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
