When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barrister hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Baker for the past few years.

History: He was born in the south. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and many gnolls want him driven away
