History: Patrick lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
