History: Thervan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Thervan liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. History: Gruk was born the youngest of three triplets. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
