History: Rûg was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Shamash was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Miner soon after.
