Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Shamash was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born to a Ruler, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mayor and was forced into it by his family.

History: The child of a Mason, who enjoyed hunting, Quarethon was taken on many hunting expeditions. Quarethon was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Quarethon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
