History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Baradad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away.

History: He was born in the north. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Fonkin was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
