Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Gennal was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Gennal decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned.
