History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Interpreter for hire.

History: Rathkran was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and many illithids want him driven away
