History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Zedaar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Zedaar was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Lance was born with his mother's beautiful face. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
