History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Silent was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to raise his children well

History: Born in the west to a Farmer, Borun learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Blacksmith arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He worked as a nervous Blacksmith and found it very stressful. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.
