When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Ivellios lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
