History: Oren was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Interpreter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: His skin is bronze and flawless. He wears a fancy violet suit. He is an epitome of beauty. He sports a flattop hair cut. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He found a children's book about a Halfling Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with Stetson hat and is in decent physical shape. He wears his red hair down. His brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Halfling culture. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He bought a dagger and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Guard who has hired him part-time. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and he has money and likes to spend it
