Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rurik was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Being a Shepherd kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town.
