History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Weaver. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural dwarven artifacts is his passion

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Wrenn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Wrenn. He has never given up on his painting dream.
