History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Gargax speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Gargax enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the north were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born in a small island village. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Zepar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
