History: The child of a Assassin, who enjoyed hunting, Mantus was taken on many hunting expeditions. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Balimaar is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balimaar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. He now owns his own business.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Peren is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in the west to a Healer, Peren learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Through the years after Peren was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Peren's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
