When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. A true patriot, Gale would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born in the west. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age his mother died while driving off some brigands. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in mace use. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Direcris is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
