He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Butcher who has hired him part-time. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Stylist. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Beast lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and to reunite with his absent father
