Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Pushkrimp was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Jak lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
