Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bather they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Born to a Spy, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Takra and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Mugrunden was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
