Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Lone is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He got into the Soapmaker business at a young age. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This dark-skinned male wears a simple black robe with violet stripes complete with hood. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His silver hair and beard is wavy and long. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. Cory enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Cory lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Fortune-teller arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He became a Fortune-teller soon after.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
