He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miner.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rolen grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.
