History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: The child of a Map Maker, who enjoyed hunting, Cockaby was taken on many hunting expeditions. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and money/treasure

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Gardener. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He struck the Gardener job and began his own company from there.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
