Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion; and to reunite with his old friends

History: Hoglik hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Hoglik alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
