Personality: He is mildly Half-Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Arannis hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
