History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Quarethon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is obsessed with his god.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
