History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has achieved small success as a Merchant.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kite grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kite. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
