History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Mayor arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He tends to his Mayor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. A true patriot, Balam would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. At some point he was captured by drow and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his religion dominates his actions
